New England Siberian Husky Puppies

Our dogs are first and foremost members of our family. They enjoy time both inside our home and in our kennel.

Our kennel is located in the lower level of our house where each dog has their own space, a Kuranda raised dog bed, and multiple benebone’s to chew on. In the warmer months we leave the doors open all day for fresh air and views. Our kennel is also equipped with sound reduction panels, a dehumidifier, and an air filtration system. We use our kennels more like large crates and we let them outside a zillion times a day to run around, go to the bathroom and socialize with each other.

All of our dogs rotate through the house so they also get to live life as house dogs and are not just exclusively kennel dogs. We truly feel they are part of our family and we make sure they are living their happiest lives at all times.

According to the Siberian Husky Club of America Guidelines for Ethical Breeding Practices and include Eyes, Hips, SPS1 and SHPN1.

PAIRING WITH A

PURPOSE

TITLED IN SHOWING + PROVEN IN HARNESS

We spare no expense to give our dogs top notch diets, supplements, treats, and veterinary care. Many of our dogs even visit a dog chiropractor to keep them physically in tip top shape for showing and running season.

We believe that every dog in our breeding program needs to prove their worthiness to contribute to the gene pool. To do this they earn AKC Champion titles or at a minimum are proven in harness. To us this demonstrates they exhibit the correct characteristics of the breed standard and have traits worthy of being passed on. To become an AKC Champion a dog must also be able to handle the stress, constant interactions, exams etc. so they must be temperamentally stable as well.

We aren’t just breeding dogs to breed them. Each pair is carefully evaluated to ensure we are improving on specific traits and not doubling on less desirable traits. Not every dog we own will get bred. We are specifically looking to produce superior siberian huskies and some don’t have the right traits to be worthy of carrying on in our breeding program.

ADDITIONAL BREEDING REQUIREMENTS

AN EMPHASIS ON PHYSICAL HEALTH

BREEDING

STEPS

Our dogs spend winters running and pulling a dog sled. In the slightly warmer months they pull our wheeled rig and bike-jor. In the summer we take them on walks/hikes and they use our dog treadmill to say in shape.

Our adult Siberian huskies aren’t bred until they are at least 2+ years old because we want to make sure any parent is fully mentally and physically developed before contributing genes into our gene pool and that they have all applicable health testing (some of which can't be done before 2 years old.)

Before being bred our males and females receive a pre breeding exam and take a  brucellosis test. Our females then do progesterone testing every couple of days to time breedings. Close to due dates our females get an X-ray  to ensure the well being of mother/puppies and to get a count on how many to expect.

Puppies Set up for

Success for life

Our litters are raised inside our home where they receive tons of socialization with other dogs and people of various ages. We use the Puppy Culture program along with Sound Sensitivity Exposure to help produce stable, confident puppies exposed to various stimuli at critical developmental milestones. We also start litter box training with grass pads as soon as they start walking + we begin crate training when they are around 5 weeks old. These activities set the right foundation and help make the transition to their new lives easier.
