2024 SIBERIAN HUSKY CLUB OF AMERICA BREEDER OF THE YEAR
HIGH-QUALITY AKC CHAMPION SIBERIAN HUSKIES BRED + RAISED IN NORTHERN, NEW HAMPSHIRE | EST. 2014

Welcome to

Polaire

Superior
temperaments, structure and health
Polaire Siberians is a small, private show + sledding kennel in the White Mountains of Northern NH. We are extremely active in the breed and adhere to the Siberian Husky Club of America Code of Ethics & Standards for Breeding.
We compete in AKC events to title our dogs in conformation and race in dog sled races earning miles toward sled dog titles. While titles aren’t typically super important to most pet owners, to us it demonstrates that our dogs have the correct structure, work ethic and temperament expected in the breed and are worthy of being in our breeding program.

The Polaire Difference
LIMITED LITTERS & CAREFULLY SELECTED BREEDING PLANS
ETHICAL + PURPOSEFUL BREEDING
HEALTH TESTED & TITLED PARENTS
We breed on average a litter or less a year. Any pair of dogs we plan to breed are carefully evaluated to ensure the match is improving on specific traits that will further help us to produce superior Siberian Huskies. We ask for feedback on our breeding plans from multiple mentors and breeder friends to ensure we are making the best possible decisions in our pairings.
All of the dogs used in our breeding program are health tested for hips, eyes, SPS1 & SHPN1. They are also AKC Champions which means they exhibit characteristics of the breed standard and have traits worthy of being passed on as evidenced by being awarded by multiple dog show judges in order to obtain their championships.
We breed first and foremost to acquire the next generation of our program with the goal of improving on structure, health, & temperament. We love this breed and want to ensure it is around for future generations to enjoy. Our main purpose is to preserve, protect and promote these incredible dogs.
PUPPIES RAISED IN OUR HOME & SET UP FOR SUCCESS BEFORE THEY LEAVE
A LIFETIME OF SUPPORT FROM EXPERTS OF THE BREED
MULTIPURPOSE DOGS WHO CAN ADAPT TO VARIOUS LIFESTYLES
Our litters are raised inside our home where they receive tons of socialization with other dogs and people of various ages. We use the Puppy Culture program along with Sound Sensitivity Exposure to help produce stable, confident puppies exposed to various stimuli at critical developmental milestones. We also start litter box training with grass pads as soon as they start walking + we being crate training when they are around 5 weeks old. These activities set the right foundation and help make the transition to their new lives easier.
We pride ourselves on having generations of Siberian Huskies with amazing temperaments that are adaptable to different lifestyles and thrive doing various activities.
We are available for any questions, concerns, issues, or advice you may need for the entire lifetime of your Siberian Husky. If we don't know the answer we have access to mentors and a network of breeders who combined have hundreds of years of specialized experience with this specific breed.

Hi, We're Kristen + Nate
We got our first show Siberian Husky in 2014. We were very picky about starting our breeding program because we wanted to start off on the right foot with really nice foundation dogs. We were not interested in just breeding dogs to breed them, but to preserve and better the breed. It took seven years for us to feel like we had what we were looking for and then we finally had our first litter. In 2022, we traded in the cornfields of Indiana where we were both born and raised for a house in Northern, New Hampshire. Relocating gave us the ability to start training and racing our dogs in dog sled races.
Our lives truly revolve around our dogs. We spend so much time and money making sure they receive top notch care and nutrition. We spend countless hours training, running/sledding them, traveling around the country showing them in AKC dog show, and just enjoying them as companions.
